Names for My Imaginary Children
We all think about this a little bit, right? Even if we have no intention of every procreating, it's fun to imagine the perfect moniker for our tiny minions, eh?
Being the typical Minnesota mix of Norwegian/Swedish/German, with a last name to match, I believe this is a valid excuse for an awesomely matching ethnic first name to saddle my babies with. On my list
- Greta
- Elsie
- Annetta
- Mahrin
- Simon
- Sorin
- Oscar
- Henry
- Calvin
What about you?

Being a Virgo, I have mine!
1.Serenity
2.Yassin (boy)

8. Aley/Ali (boy)
I am Egyptian, you can guess it from the Arabic influence on the names (I think?)
I do NOT have the slightest intention of having kids, but if I was to choose I would name a girl Linda (because it means beautiful in Portuguese and would be easy for my Irish in-laws to pronounce). No names for boys.
Btw, Sarah, I received you postcard... GORGEOUS, with a very very very faint smell of llamas indeed! lol Thank you soooo much! But I`ve been hunting high and low for postcards of my city to send you, but as it seems nobody wants to see how a small industrial city in the country side of the state of São Paulo in Brazil looks like. Lame.....
Lucy
Hunter
That's all I've got.
I would love to have two little boys and then a little girl. They would be called:
1. Nicholas (Nick)
2. Daniel (Danny)
3. Emma
I just think those names sound cute together : )
Don't know if I will ever have kids if I do I like Estavanico and Califia. I'm a history buff... and their nicknames would be Stavi and Cali so they would rhyme with Zavi, I KNOW super corny
I've given this a lot of thought. Ironic, considering that at the moment I don't ever want to have children. That may or may not change, but I'm prepared nonetheless.
Girl - Simon Marie
Boy - Tobias Ezekial
It's good that I'm not having kids, because I'd name them Villanelle and Sestina - forms of poetry
Okay, Ms.KLC - Simon is sooo cute for a girl! omg. and I love Camille too.
Sarah, Henry is on MY list too! And Audrina was on my list until a cerain MTV show. :-( Now I have no idea for a girls name...
I always wanted a boy called Silas. Not that I actually want children but if it ever happened then that would be a sort of choice although Jack after my Grandad runs in first place at the moment.
Girls - am not so sure about. Bea I always like and Esthers good too.
I'll fight you for Greta. It's the only one I've got. I'm hoping if I ever have children though that the preggo genes will give me some magic names for the bun in the oven.
