Pandora Stations that Make Life Worth Living

photo

I'm pretty much addicted to listening to Pandora at work.  Here are the stations that get me through the day:

My Ingrid Michaelson station--Soothing lady voices singing clever lyrics with beautiful piano, acoustic guitar and tight harmonies?  Yes, please.

My Bitter:Sweet station--A little trip-hop, a little jazzy, just the right combo of fast/slow to power through a boring spreadsheet.

My Heart station--80's ladies ROCK!

My Adele station--A little bit like my Ingrid Michaelson station, but with more soul and a little funk.

My Julie London station--Kick-ass lady jazz singers from the past.  Best listened to on days when I wear red lipstick to work.

What are your favorite Pandora stations?  Do you have "must-listen-to" music for work?

My favorite Pandora station for work is a bit embarrassing. It's based off of the song "Love Potion Number 9". But aside from the one day a week that Pandora seems intent on forcing me to get over my dislike for The Beatles, I seriously love just about every song this station comes up with!

Love my "Simply Red" and "Level 42" stations.

Not sure if I should admit this, but the Glee Cast Radio station is a pretty good pick-me-up during the day! (Maybe we should make a list of our embarrassing Pandora stations)

I don't do Pandora all that often (computer speakers were banned from my workplace BOO!) But when I do, I'm addicted to my Ben Folds station, my Ben Harper station and my Swell Season station. I'm so predictable - there is plenty of overlap between the three.

I love early blues where I can listen to Robert Johnson and the Reverend Gary Davis. I like to listen to Glen Miller when I need to clean the house:)

Imogen Heap often yields sound-similars that you've listed, which I love. Also, Etta James.

Ooh, ooh, major props for the Bitter:Sweet station!!! I love Bitter:Sweet. One of my go-to stations is based on the song "Australia" by The Shins for low-key but not too moody music. My workplace addiction though is one of pandora's genre offerings -- Golden Oldies Radio. Light-hearted, sweet, catchy, innocent (mostly) music is my happy place.

You are the first person I've met (eh, you know, internet met) who loves both bitter:sweet and Ingrid Michaelson, and for this I love you.

Will naturally be checking out the other artists you listed. Man I wish we got Pandora in Europe. Oh, well, Spotify it is, then.

I love Ingrid Michaelson, but I don't have a station for her. Yikes. I love my station based on the song Falling Slowly.
